Dr. David J. Hammond is a native of Clearwater, Florida. He graduated from Emory University in Atlanta, GA in 1981 with a B.S. degree in biology. He earned his Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Houston in 1985. He has been practicing in Austin since graduating. Dr. Hammond is a member of the Central Texas Optometric Society, the Texas Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association.
